JOCELYN RABANG-OBILLO

IMG_7504.JPG

Jocelyn Rabang is an architect by profession, both in building and in the naval side. Her inclination to art started in her elementary years where she developed her skills in sketching, drawing, and painting and joined competitions where she successfully won. This is one of the reasons why she was led to pursue her studies in architecture. Besides her technical expertise in construction and managing technical systems in the maritime industry, she brings her work to life by the spaces she designs and the buildings she constructs. In between her busy disposition, she creates artworks to deviate from the pressures of her field.

She was also a professor teaching design and autocad to architecture students on the shore side and to naval architecture and marine engineering students on the sea-based side.

She works with acrylics on canvas and experiments on embossed paintings using concrete and other available materials.  She also works on stippling using pen and ink.
