From Laguna we went straight to Antipolo via C5. Our first destination on the list was Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Parish. I guess this is the right church to start the day as we explore more of Rizal. It looks huge from the outside, maybe it was the effect of the dome shape roof. I was surprise in a good way that churches are open during Black Saturday, 'cause from what I remember, they close the church every Good Friday around 3 PM, well I guess I'm wrong.

Next on the list was San Jose Parish, Taytay. It was erected on an elevated part of the town. It was windy when we got our of the car but the wind brought with it the angelic voices of the local choir. I think they are practicing for Easter Sunday. From what I've read, the church was built originaly near the bay.

Third was San Clemente in Angono, the pinkest church among the group. Streets here are a bit small so be careful when you bring a car with you. Make sure the one behind the wheels can maneuver well on this kind of roads.

Fourth stop was the Sta. Ursula Parish in Binangonan. I find the name of the church funny...Ursula, a chubby half woman half squid comes to mind when I first saw this on the internet. Anyhow, we ate lunch afterwards at every Filipinos favorite bee before heading out to the next town.

Four churches down, 3 to go and a Falls...
